MCASO
Established as a nonprofit organization in 1995, MCASO has dedicated itself to championing diversity and confronting hate, fostering an environment of respect, understanding, and unity within the community.
Serving the diverse population of the Rogue Valley, MCASO operates with the conviction that embracing our differences enriches our collective experience. Through its various initiatives, events, and programs, MCASO works tirelessly to ensure that every voice is heard and valued, making it a cornerstone of the community's efforts to promote a more inclusive society.
OUR Mission
The mission of MCASO is to serve as a catalyst in the community, promoting understanding and appreciation between cultures by creating cross-cultural educational events and media, where people of all backgrounds can interact in a safe environment.
Our purpose is to reduce racism and all forms of discrimination, while promoting diversity; to use media, events and programs as educational forums that lead to intercultural understanding among all people and to social, environmental and economic justice.
Our Programs

KSKQ Community Radio
KSKQ, 89.5 FM Ashland & 94.1 FM Medford.
The Multicultural Kids Camp (s)
Multiday Outdoor Based Day Camps. Where we educate on a traditional experience and foster a relationship between your child and nature.

Rogue Womxn, a lesbian support group.
